Our Organic ginger and turmeric come from a very special farm in Fiji - Ranadi Organics. Meaning "queen" in Fijian, Ranadi is run entirely by local women, many of whom have been with the farm for over 15 years. This farm not only nurtures exceptional produce but also empowers its staff, offering training courses and incentives to advance their skills in cultivation and farming.

As the largest certified organic farm in Fiji, Ranadi champions regenerative farming practices to enrich the soil and grow sustainable crops. Their focus on soil health, composting, and recycling helps create vibrant, healthy harvests. At Daily Good, we proudly partner with Ranadi and other local suppliers, supporting small businesses and creating lasting relationships that add value to everything we do.

The ingredients we use are grown in ways that support healthy ecosystems, preserving habitats for wildlife and reducing deforestation.

In 2016, Ranadi Organics became one of only four farms worldwide to receive the prestigious Global G.A.P. certification. This recognition highlights their dedication to sustainable practices and the protection of biodiversity throughout their operations.

Ranadi’s journey toward sustainability began in 2013 when they started their transition to certified organic farming. Today, they are fully certified by ACO, USDA NOP, IFOAM, and JAS, ensuring that their farming methods meet the highest global standards for sustainability. Their innovative approach includes permaculture design, avenue cropping for ginger crops, rainwater harvesting, and sustainable greywater management for their packhouse. They’ve also developed a diverse food forest to enrich the land and encourage biodiversity.

Ranadi Organics also draws inspiration from the “Do Nothing” philosophy of Japanese farmer Masanobu Fukuoka, trialing his methods on a portion of their farm. With guidance from their ginger consultant, Paul Decker, Ranadi has been able to implement techniques that further support soil health and biodiversity.

In recognition of their hard work and dedication, Ranadi was named Organic Crop Farmer of the Year (Central Division) in Fiji in 2015, marking their second consecutive win.
